Wizz Air will launch flights to new destinations from Armenia on October 1, 2025, Roland Tischner, managing director at Wizz Air Hungary said at a press conference.

The Wizz Air network of destinations from Armenia will include 17 routes to 10 countries. 

Two modern Airbus A321neo aircraft will be based in the airline’s Yerevan base. 

The Wizz Air executive highlighted the environmental-friendly characteristics of the planes. 

Tischner said these aircraft ensure 20% reduction of fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions, as well as 50% noise reduction compared to the previous generation planes. “This will also have less impact in terms of environmental pollution,” he said.

Some of the new flights will be conducted up to three times per week. 

The flights to Dortmund will be increased up to 4 flights per week.
