Global PHUSE Conference Held in Armenia for the First Time

The National Oncology Center named after V.A. Fanarjian of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia hosted the “PHUSE Single Day Event” on May 2, an internationally renowned conference held in Armenia for the first time, the National Oncology Center has said.
The event was organized at the initiative of the “Gurus CRO” company and brought together representatives of around 20 organizations involved in clinical research from the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Georgia, as well as over 200 specialists from the Armenian healthcare system.
The PHUSE Single Day Event is a global one-day conference aimed at promoting the development of clinical research, data science, and biometrics in the healthcare sector of the region.
Welcoming the participants, Karen Tsarukyan, Acting Director of the National Oncology Center, noted that it was a great honor to host such an event in Armenia.
In his speech, Vahe Martirosyan, co-founder and director of Gurus CRO, emphasized that organizing the conference was an important step for the region for presenting Armenia as a promising hub for clinical research in the international market.
More than a dozen sectoral reports were presented during the event, along with panel discussions and experience-sharing sessions.
