The Armenian men’s and women’s chess teams have won the 5th round of the European Team Chess Championship.
The Armenian men’s team defeated Montenegro with a score of 3.5:0.5. Shant Sargsyan, Robert Hovhannisyan and Hayk Martirosyan won their games. Gabriel Sargsyan's match ended in a draw.
The Armenian women’s team defeated Switzerland with a score of 2.5:1.5. Mariam Mkrtchyan and Elina Danielyan secured victories and Lilit Mkrtchyan’s game concluded in a draw.
