Deputy Speaker at 2nd Global Armenian Summit: If you love your motherland, you must strengthen your state
Tuesday, September 17, 2024The joint efforts of Armenians and our Diaspora compatriots bring new knowledge, opportunities, investments, technologies, skills, and products to Armenia, making Armenia more developed, connected, and integrated with the world, and in some cases, even more progressive, Armenian National Assembly Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan said at the opening ceremony of the second Global Armenian Summit.
The Deputy Speaker, addressing compatriots from abroad, noted that every step, investment, piece of knowledge, or service has significant consequences, bringing benefits to the Armenian people and the Republic of Armenia.
''Let us join our efforts to build an even stronger and more developed country, forming an educated, progressive, caring, and hardworking society. Today's agenda includes issues related to Armenia's independence, security, strengthening of democracy, and development of community ties.
Regardless of where we live, it is the responsibility of every Armenian to participate in this process. Motherland is a state; if you love your motherland, you must strengthen your state," said the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.
Arshakyan expressed hope that the results of the Summit would be significant and would serve as a foundation for deepening the national identity and unity.
