Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Attends Global Disability Summit 2025

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Tatevik Stepanyan, participated in the Global Disability Summit 2023, held from April 2 to 3.
Within the framework of the summit, the Republic of Armenia joined the Amman-Berlin Declaration, dedicated to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the global development agenda.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the summit was organized in the Federal Republic of Germany in collaboration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The opening remarks were delivered by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed.
The agenda covered a range of issues related to the inclusion of persons with disabilities, international commitments to realizing their rights, the outcomes of regional conferences, and ensuring decent work for persons with disabilities.
According to the source, a number of working meetings and discussions were held during the summit, with the participation of Tatevik Stepanyan.
