The Tourism Committee of Armenia has reported an increase in the number of inbound tourists in May, with 181,436 tourists visiting the country, whereas the number was 167,049 in the same month of 2024.
It said most tourists in January—May came from Russia.
“In 2025 January-May, most inbound tourism visits to Armenia were from Russia (37%), Georgia (15%) and Iran (8%),” the Tourism Committee said in a press release.
