A delegation led by Armenian Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan, which included Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Davit Khudatyan and Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, met with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso during a visit to London.

Minister Hovhannisyan thanked the EBRD President for the effective cooperation which resulted in EBRD investments directed to Armenia in 2024 reaching a record 400 million euros, the finance ministry said in a readout.

Speaking about Armenia’s participation in the process of increasing the EBRD capital, the finance minister underscored Armenia’s readiness to endorse the institution’s mission.

The Armenian delegation also met with other EBRD staffers, particularly individual specialized teams, and discussed the progress and issues in significant infrastructure programs in the Armenian portfolio.
