2,263,642 tourists visited Armenia in 2025, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said on Thursday at a Cabinet meeting.
139,933 tourists visited the country in December alone, he added.
According to Papoyan, May, June, July, August, October, November, and December of 2025 were the best months in Armenia’s history in terms of tourist arrivals.
“In 2025, Armenia welcomed 2,263,642 tourists, which is 2.5 percent higher than last year’s figure and 19.4 percent higher than in 2019,” the minister said. He also noted that the record year for tourist arrivals in Armenia was 2023, when the country received 50,000 more tourists than this year.
