Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has met Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Abbas Salehi, during her official visit to Iran, the ministry said in a press release.
Andreasyan highlighted the “friendly and collegial relationship” between the two countries and underscored “the broad potential for partnership in culture.”
The ministers discussed the possibility of organizing Iranian Culture Days in Armenia and Armenian Culture Days in Iran.
They attached importance to continuing the successful cooperation between the Golden Apricot Film Festival and the Fajr Film Festival. The ministers highlighted cooperation in literature and written heritage.
Andreasyan invited her counterpart to visit Armenia to continue the constructive dialogue and boost cultural cooperation.
