The Republic of Armenia and the United States are working to implement the TRIPP project and other agreements reached in Washington, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday.
Speaking about the unblocking of connectivity in the South Caucasus, Prime Minister Pashinyan, during his speech at the 2025 Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, referred to the U.S.-brokered agreements signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8 in Washington.
“The Republic of Armenia will work with the United States of America and mutually determined third parties, to set forth a framework for the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) connectivity project in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. We confirm our determination to pursue efforts in good faith to achieve this goal in the most expeditious manner,” Pashinyan quoted point 4 of the joint declaration signed in Washington.
He reiterated that Yerevan and Washington are currently making efforts and working to turn the agreements into reality.
The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) is a connectivity project in Armenia envisaged under the U.S.-brokered Armenian-Azerbaijani joint declaration signed in Washington, D.C. The project is expected to unlock strategic economic opportunities, creating long-term benefits by promoting infrastructure investment and enhancing regional connectivity. TRIPP is part of the Crossroads of Peace project.
