Ani Hakobyan
Tuesday, April 21, 2020Ani Hakobyan (Born 1986 April 10) is an Armenian musicologist (researcher in especially folk music industry). Ani is the youngest researcher from NAS RA (National Academy of Sciences of Armenia) of the folk / traditional music section. She has been going from village to village in Armenian different regions to collect not well known, not written, deeply forgotten Armenian traditional songs from elderly people. She is also a music trainer and conductor of "Karin" traditional folk dance and song group.
