Our clients consist of actors, directors, writers and stuntmen, as well as other professionals in the Entertainment industry. We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant who does NOT need training and supervision and can hit the ground running. |
| Job Requirements: |
3 - 5 years of experience in accounting (preferably involving entertainers in accounting firm or a business management firm.) --using QuickBooks. Must have the ability to handle all aspects of accounting functions including but not limited to, A/R, A/P, G/L, reconciliations, sales tax, payroll tax, invoicing, month/year end closing, and preparing financial statements. ** The duties also include preparing journal entries, resolving accounting errors, reconciling inter-company allocations, performing payroll reconciliation. ** Strong payroll knowledge is preferred since the candidate must handle payroll. ** He/She would be assisting with preparation of tax returns, payroll and other accounting related projects. |
