Job Description:

A boutique CPA firm located in Burbank seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing practice. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with remote work possible for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Year-end tax adjustments and cleanup
- Tax return input and preparation (individuals and businesses)
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- Filing sales tax returns and City of LA business licenses
- Client communications and light administrative support

Job Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 2-5 years experience with QuickBooks Online, Desktop & Xero (Xero experience preferred but not required)
- Tax Support: Min 1 year experience with tax return prep work. CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently

Education & Credentials:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (minimum required)
- EA, CPA, or CPA candidate preferred

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications
