Spanish Speaking Teacher Assistant - Los Angeles, CA

Job Description:

Caring for and teaching children
• Assisting in planning and implementing weekly/monthly activities and curriculum
• Helping with meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks) and cleanup
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom (sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, etc.)
• Assisting with diapering, bathroom needs, and nap time
• Organizing toys, books, and materials daily
• Engaging with children through play and conversation — in Spanish only

Job Requirements:

Fluent (native-level) Spanish — must speak Spanish with children at all times
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6–12 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
CPR/First Aid (Infant & Adult) Certified
Current TB test clearance
Fingerprint clearance (Livescan)
Health & Safety Training
Mandated Reporter Certificate
Required immunizations: Measles, Pertussis, Influenza
Covid-19 vaccination or test
