Our Company is a leading architectural and custom signage manufacturer headquartered in Los Angeles, USA. We specialize in designing, fabricating, and installing large-scale signage, wayfinding systems, and branded architectural elements for commercial, corporate, and public projects across North America.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex signage and wayfinding projects in coordination with U.S.-based teams, clients, general contractors, and production departments.

This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, architectural drawings, fabrication workflows, and installation planning for signage and environmental graphic design projects.

The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between clients, engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Front Signs’ quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination

• Participate in project kickoff meetings to understand client goals, timelines, and deliverables.

• Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify signage scope, technical details, and material requirements.

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop shop drawings, material specifications, and submittal packages.

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules with milestones for fabrication, shipping, and installation.

• Organize and lead internal coordination meetings between estimation, design, purchasing, and production teams.

Documentation and Communication

• Compile and manage project documentation, including specifications, RFIs, change orders, and approval records.

• Ensure submittals, samples, and revisions are properly logged and approved by clients or GCs.

• Maintain consistent communication with clients, general contractors, and internal stakeholders to report progress, issues, and changes.

• Support preparation of closeout documents, as-built drawings, and warranty submissions.

Production and Quality Oversight

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure design intent and material selections are correctly implemented.

• Monitor fabrication progress, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and quality standards.

• Anticipate and resolve design or fabrication conflicts before they impact schedule or budget.

• Ensure all signage elements meet engineering and code requirements (ADA, mounting details, structural safety).

Cost and Schedule Management

• Track budgets and project costs; report variances and recommend corrective actions when needed.

• Assist in evaluating vendor and subcontractor performance.

• Review invoices and material purchase requests for accuracy.

Stakeholder & Site Coordination

• Participate in client or GC meetings (virtually or on-site as required).

• Coordinate with installation teams for sequencing, access, and logistics.

• Conduct post-installation reviews to confirm compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
