Job Description:

Adult Day Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Program/Kitchen Aide to join our team. This position is a dual-role supporting both our participant activities and our dietary department. Team members rotate between assisting participants on the program floor and helping prepare and serve meals in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with recreational activities and participant engagement
- Escort and assist participants throughout the day
- Help serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks
- Prepare and portion food according to dietary guidelines
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
- Assist participants during meals
- Help transportation staff as needed
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable and dependable
- Compassionate toward older adults and adults with disabilities
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Food service or caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Bilingual (Spanish and/or Armenian) is a plus

Salary:

$18.50hr - $21.00hr
