Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our start-up private podiatry practice. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within our medical office, providing exceptional service to patients, and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering quality care. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, familiarity with insurance verification and electronic medical record systems, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Duties:
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Manage scheduling efficiently, coordinating appointments for patients and providers.
Handle phone systems with professionalism, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
Maintain accurate patient files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Assist with medical billing processes, including coding and insurance verification.
Provide administrative support to healthcare staff as needed, including managing correspondence and documentation. Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients.
Schedule surgeries

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant is preferred.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is highly desirable.
Proficient in using computerized systems for scheduling and record management.
Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Experience in a medical office setting is a plus but not required.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as medical assistant or secretary will be a plus.
Fluency in Armenian and English is mandatory due to the location of the practice and patient population demographics.
