Part Time Support Staff/Caregiver Needed - Glendale, CA

Job Description:

Family are looking for staff to support at home and in the community for 27 year old son with autism to be able to work the following schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday 6:00am-9:00am
Sunday 6:00am-12:00pm
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 1:00pm-5:00pm (This schedule can be flexible)
Friday 12:00pm-5:00pm
You will be paid through a financial management company (Cambrian)
This role consist of being hands-on assistance with personal care tasks, including toileting, eating, etc.
Be organized and ready for the unexpected each day.
Be calm, patient and flexible, while remaining firm without raising your voice
Help to be safe in the community. Be comfortable with social integration, as part of your job will include driving and community outings.
Work alongside support staff and other providers/vendors
Collect information and log in daily activities

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Must pass a background check
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to work all holidays
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and take guidance from the family and the team
