Job Description:

Glendale Workers’ Compensation Law Firm needs a full-time LEGAL ASSISTANT/PARALEGAL who will be working with and assisting two attorneys and several other paralegals on workers' compensation defense cases. 2 years of experience in a workers' compensation firm is needed. The ideal candidate must be familiar with workers' compensation procedures and EAMS. The candidate must be organized and can work independently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to drafting letters and pleadings, E-Filing with EAMS, preparing files for hearings, reviewing incoming mail and e-mails, and helping attorneys with responses, contacting law offices and doctors' offices, etc.

**Punctual with good attendance/Excellent time management skills
**Good skills in utilizing Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
**Energetic/Self-motivated/Enthusiastic and eager to learn
**Able to multitask at all times
**Must be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines/highly detail-oriented
**Able to get along and take orders from many co-workers in similar and higher positions (attorneys, paralegals/hearing reps/attorneys)
**Must be able to work in a very fast-paced office, assisting multiple people at a time
