Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist will provide both administrative and clinical support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care. Successful candidate will work in a cozy, family-like environment, helping to handle patient intake, vital sign measurement, assist during medical procedures, and are skilled in phlebotomy to collect blood samples for diagnostic testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Includes welcoming patients, updating records, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, preparing patients for exams, and potentially administering injections and vaccinations within their legal scope of practice.

Phlebotomy: Performing blood draws (venipuncture, capillary, and possibly arterial), following safety protocols for specimen collection and labeling, ensuring proper handling and storage, and explaining procedures to patients.

Administrative Duties: Scheduling appointments, managing medical records, handling billing and basic office tasks, stocking supplies, answering phones, and managing correspondence.

Laboratory Support: Processing specimens for testing, maintaining equipment, and potentially performing basic laboratory tests.

Patient Education: Educating patients about blood draws and providing post-visit instructions.
