Job Description:

Podiatry Medical Assistant Job Duties:

32-35 hours a week, Monday to Friday- No weekends.

1. Assistant:
Assist Doctor in procedures when needed.
Assist Doctor in Back Office
Order medical inventory.

2. Authorization:
Obtain prior authorizations for procedures and medications.
Document authorization numbers and approvals.
Follow up on claim status.

3. Prescription Management:
Coordinate prescription refills with pharmacies.
Communicate with patients about medication status.

Job Requirements:

As a Medical Assistant, you will help provide quality patient care and support daily clinic operations. You’ll assist with patient intake, keep electronic health records (EHR) up to date, and help the physician with medical procedures. Fluent in Armenian and English. Medical experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary:

$19-$21 an hour
