Job Description:

A Physical Therapy clinic is seeking a compassionate, professional, and motivated Massage Therapist/Physical Therapist Aid (preferably female) to joint our outpatient physical therapy team. We are a 20 year old business, specialized in one-on-one patient care focused on orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, post operative rehabilitation and wellness services.

Job Requirements:

The Massage Therapist will work closely with physical therapist and physical therapist assistant and support staff to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, decrease muscle tension and enhance overall recovery and wellness.
Job duties involve:
Setting up patients on modalities like electrical stimulation, hot pack, infrared light, Vaso pneumatic pump, mechanical traction, whirlpool etc.
Performing massage- manually, with massagers, use of cupping/scraping
Performing exercises with the patients
Prepare and sanitize treatment areas between patients
maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment/do laundry
reporting progress and changes in patient condition to the physical therapist/or physical therapist assistant.
