LITIGATION ATTORNEY Needed for Law Firm - Glendale, CA

 You will be working on high-value cases and will be responsible for such cases from beginning to end (most will be in litigation from the beginning). Your duties will include the following:

• Conduct routine File Reviews with the Litigation team
• Create Action Plans for each case (Identify liability and damages disputes/weaknesses and execute plans to overcome them)
• Hold your team and yourself responsible for executing the Action Plans
• Identify liable parties
• Call important clients once every 45 days.
• Draft strategic settlement demands, where necessary.
• Negotiate settlements with defense counsel to hit Settlement Goal.
• Document client communications and negotiations in the case management system.
• Collaborate closely with Litigation Paralegal and other staff to move cases forward.
• Participate in firm training sessions and stay current on personal injury law developments
• Maintain the utmost professional standards toward the Firm and its clients.
• Read releases
• Prepare and File proper Complaints
• Propound and answer Written Discovery
• Review Discovery Responses (Meet and Confer to get full responses)
• Take and defend Depositions
• Attend Mediations
• Do Expert Discovery
• Help Litigation Team prepare for trial where needed
