Job Description:

This position is part-time and responsible for administering HR policies and procedures, employee onboarding, personnel records, employee relations, compliance, recruiting, benefits, and leave administration.The HR Generalist must have strong knowledge of California employment laws and

experience supporting a workforce that includes hourly and non-exempt employees.

Coordinate job postings and recruitment activities.
* Screen resumes and coordinate interviews.
* Assist managers with hiring and candidate selection.
* Conduct new-hire onboarding.
* Prepare and maintain new-hire documentation.
* Coordinate background checks and other pre-employment requirements.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
preferred.
* 3-5+ years of HR Generalist experience.
* Strong experience with California employment laws.
* Experience supporting hourly and non-exempt employees.
* Strong communication and employee-relations skills.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.
* PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification preferred.

Armenian and English are a Must; Russian is a plus.
