Highland Park Animal Hospital is a multi-doctor practice that is seeking motivated people to provide excellent client experiences and high quality care to our patients. We strive to be a partner to pet owners for every stage of their pet’s life. To succeed here, you must be an excellent problem solver, possess great people skills, and have the ability to remain focused and organized in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.

As the first and last point of contact with our clients you will be the face of the practice responsible for promoting the hospital and its services. This position requires that a person combine excellent customer service, education and sales skills in a way that positively impacts the practice and its clients

Job Requirements:

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Management of medical records – enter and verify client and pet information, complete health certificates, filing, and correspondence (written and oral) regarding patient.
• Educate clients about pets health care needs, preventative care and hospital services
• Communicate with clients and team members to for delivery of services
• Present and explain treatment plans and estimates to clients
• Fill prescriptions, review instructions, schedule future appointments, process payments
• Customer outreach/Ancillary tasks/ Special projects
SKILLS
• Must have strong written communication skills (grammar, spelling, penmanship)
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using decimals and fractions
• Be positive, happy and friendly even when faced with unpleasant situations
• Computer Literate – (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Intravet Veterinary Software)
Bilingual a plus (English + Spanish)
