Executive Chef Needed - Studio City, CA

A prominent Russian restaurant is looking for an Executive Chef to be the primary culinary leader responsible for creating high-end menus, maintaining consistent, exceptional food quality, and directing all kitchen operations. The incumbent will be responsible for managing food costs, staffing, and safety, while fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring that every dish meets highest standards before reaching our guests.
- Menu Engineering & Culinary Innovation: Developing seasonal, high-end dishes, setting pricing, and conducting costing to ensure profitability.
- Quality Control & Execution: Supervising all kitchen operations, often working the "pass" (expediting) to approve the flavor, presentation, and temperature of every plate.
- Kitchen Management: Managing inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, and operating within strict budgetary constraints.
- Staff Leadership & Training: Hiring, training, mentoring, and scheduling kitchen staff while building a positive, professional, and respectful team culture.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforcing rigorous sanitation (HACCP), food safety, and health regulations.
