Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral health and a strong commitment to supporting individuals with addictions. This role is essential in providing quality care, ensuring safety, and promoting the well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities

Provide direct support to individuals with different types of addictions, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate medical documentation . Utilize crisis intervention techniques to manage challenging behaviors effectively. Implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs. Conducted assessments and developed treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and documentation standards relevant to behavioral health. Offer addiction counseling support as needed, ensuring a holistic approach to client ca . Assist clients in coping with PTSD through therapeutic interventions and support. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health care.

Job Requirements:

Experience with Kipu software is an advantage working with individuals with addiction is highly desirable. Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and practices is a plus . Familiarity with medical documentation processes and medical terminology is essential l. Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.A compassionate approach towards individuals facing mental health challenges, including PTSD care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team focused on client-centered care.
