Under the general direction of the Director of Public Works, this position provides management oversight and is responsible for the overall operation and performance of one or more divisions within the Public Works Department including, Integrated Waste, Maintenance Services, Fleet Services, Facilities Management, Administration, Engineering, and Transit Services. This current vacancy is to oversee the Fleet and Facility Divisions of Public Works.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration, Project/Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field. A Master’s Degree in a related field is highly desirable.

Registration as a Civil Engineer with the California State Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Geologists, and Geophysicists is highly desirable.
