Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our extremely fast-paced dental office. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, efficient, and able to manage a strict back-to-back schedule while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires deep knowledge of all aspects of dental hygiene, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work quickly without compromising quality.

Job Requirements:

Perform routine prophylaxis (cleanings) and deep cleanings (scaling and root planing)
Conduct periodontal charting
Provide tobacco cessation counseling and oral hygiene education
Take and review dental radiographs and assist in diagnosis when necessary
Maintain accurate patient records and hygiene notes in compliance with HIPAA
Recognize and document signs of periodontal disease or other oral health concerns
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
Work closely with dentists and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Stay on schedule with minimal gaps between patients in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
