Chef –American & Mediterranean Cuisine

Qualifications
Formal culinary education or professional culinary training
Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong experience preparing American breakfast dishes and seafood-based dinner menus
Strong leadership, organization, and team management skills
Ability to create, prepare, and oversee high-quality, innovative dishes
Experience with menu development and introducing new culinary ideas
Proficient in knife skills, kitchen tools, and professional cooking equipment
Solid knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards
Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional under pressure
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high-heat, humid environments
Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities
Lead daily kitchen operations and manage one or more cooking stations
Prepare and execute American breakfast menus and seafood-focused dinner service
Develop and execute menus, recipes, and daily specials with creativity and consistency
Prepare, marinate, and cook food to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain excellence
Manage inventory, storage, and stock while following FIFO standards
Ensure all food preparation complies with health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Communicate effectively with management and front-of-house staff
