We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef for a restaurant to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and hospitality, along with a strong background in fine dining and food service management. As the Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties
• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
• Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and procurement of kitchen supplies while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation based on Company and regulatory standards
• Establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas. Ensures that kitchen staff follows and completes schedules as assigned
• Maintains inventory of food and non-food supplies to stay within established guidelines while assuring that necessary product is available when needed
• Makes all decisions regarding utilization of leftover food products staying within Company guidelines for such products
• Follows facility, department, and Company safety policies and procedures to include occurrence reporting
• Participates and attends departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs, as appropriate.
