Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a positive attitude and provide exceptional service

Operate cash register, scanner, scale, and other point-of-sale equipment

Accurately process customer purchases, handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide correct change

Bag groceries in a safe and efficient manner

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area

Monitor and restock checkout supplies (bags, receipt paper, etc.) as needed

Answer customer questions and assist with locating items when necessary

Follow all store policies, including procedures for handling returns and voids

Alert management of any price discrepancies or customer issues

Support team members in other departments as needed

Qualifications:
Fluent in English is a must.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus

Basic math skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs

Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Work Environment:
Fast-paced retail environment

Standing and interaction with customers for long periods

Use of register equipment and handling of grocery items
