Caregiver for Male Alzheimer’s Patient (Armenian or Arabic Speaker Preferred) - Glendale, CA

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to assist with the daily care of a 75-year-old male patient with Alzheimer’s dementia. The patient is wheelchair and bed-bound, unable to walk or stand, and requires full assistance with hygiene, medication, and mobility.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal hygiene, including changing multiple times daily
• Administer multiple medications on time
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with feeding and hydration
• Ensure a clean, calm, and safe environment
• Monitor for changes in health or behavior

Secondary (Occasional) Assistance:
• Provide minor help with the patient’s wife, who has heart failure and kidney failure
• Tasks may include helping lift her from one side while another person supports the other side
• She is sometimes able to walk and does not require daily assistance

Requirements:
• Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia care strongly preferred
• Ability to safely lift and reposition patients
• Fluent in Armenian or Arabic (required)
• Male caregiver preferred, but not required
• Patient, attentive, respectful, and reliable

Schedule & Living Arrangement:
• Preferred schedule:
• 12-hour shifts daily (no overnight stay)
or
• 24-hour stay with Tuesdays off
• Due to limited space, caregiver will have a pull-out bed in the living room couch for overnight stays
