Job Description:

Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, transferring, and ambulation.
Provide support with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as meal assistance, light housekeeping, and laundry.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
Assist with mobility aids, fall prevention practices, and proper body mechanics.
Encourage resident independence, dignity, and choice
Maintain a clean, safe environment; report hazards promptly.
Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior caregiving or senior care experience (preferred).
Ability to complete required training (CPR/First Aid, caregiver or CNA training depending on state).
Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.
