ARMENIAN SPEAKING MEDICAL SCHEDULER NEEDED - Glendale, CA

We are in need of a full time bilingual (MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH) Scheduling Coordinator to be a part of our mobile medical group headquartered in Glendale. Most of our patients are 50+ years old who require expedited appointments and a little extra TLC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Speaking with patients and scheduling appointments for evaluation. Collecting some basic information from patients which requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Checking patient’s eligibility.
• Call patients prior to their appointments to remind them of the visit and/or inform them of cancellations or changes to appointment schedule.
• Coordinate schedules with the medical providers.
• Creating route sheets for the medical providers.
• Understanding the greater Los Angeles geography, and being able to quickly group appointments for specific providers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Full time job from 9am to 6pm, Monday thru Friday.
• Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make about 60-80 calls a day.
• With experience working in the office environment.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and internet searching.
• Have the time-management and multitasking skills necessary to perform a variety of duties concurrently.
• A personable and understanding personality as you will be dealing with patients with ailments. Preferably someone with home health experience.

EXPERIENCE:
• Previous scheduling coordinator experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
• With experience working in the office environment.
