Job Description:

The Accounting Manager will oversee client accounting engagements, review financial statements, and manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of small- to mid-size clients. This role is hands-on and client-facing, ideal for someone comfortable working closely with partners, staff, and clients in mid-size CPA firm environment.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

Manage and review monthly and year-end accounting for multiple clients

Prepare and review financial statements and account reconciliations

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff

Serve as the primary client contact for accounting matters

Assist with month-end close, audit support, and tax coordination

Improve workflows and support accounting system processes (e.g., QuickBooks)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

CPA license required (or in progress)

5+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Experience reviewing staff work and managing deadlines

Skills

Strong communication and organizational skills

Client-service oriented and detail-focused

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
